Remodeling and Additions
We approach our renovation projects with the same energy and creativity that we do our new construction work. Each remodel has a unique set of circumstances that create opportunities for updating, transforming, or completely reinventing your space. We have assembled a group of skilled artisans who are able to adjust to the challenges that arise in renovation work, and collaborate with clients, architects, and managers to accomplish beautiful and enriching finished spaces.
Cabinet Shop
Our full service cabinet shop in Anchorage is available to produce custom designs using a variety of styles and unique wood species. We employ a diverse range of professional coatings in our on-site finishing room. Our wood working shop in Indian is used for special projects like timber framing, custom door building, hand-crafted furniture, and live-edge slab tables. For special wrought iron work we fire up the forge in our fully equipped blacksmithing and welding shop. Our hands on approach in these areas can provide our clients additional options to enhance the character of their finished spaces.
Design Services
We believe that a carefully crafted design is the foundation of a successful project. When planning a new project we employ a comprehensive and collaborative process that follows the tenets of architecture as it has been practiced for centuries. Following these timeless principles enables us to be successful in capturing the true essence of a space. The journey begins with discovering our client's unique and specific needs and desires; uncovering the nature and character of the site, selecting appropriate materials, and finally bringing all the pieces together to form a complete vision for what is to be built. Our team has decades of combined experience in the process of design using artistic sketches, schematic drawings, three dimensional renderings, and full plan sets.
